High Precision Dispensing System

The I.C.T Solder Paste And Adhesive Dispenser is built for precise micro-volume dispensing on dense SMT PCB assemblies. It is suitable for semiconductor packages, board mounting, LED back-end, Mini-LED, PC hard drives, ICs, and BGA applications. Combining linear motor motion, laser height detection, high-speed vision, and automatic compensation, the system controls dot size, path, and glue volume while correcting PCB warpage and chip deviations. Operators benefit from repeatable placement, consistent underfill penetration, and reduced material waste, all while maintaining high-speed production on fine-pitch SMT boards.

The machine’s X/Y linear motor drive and load-type gantry ensure stable, high-speed motion. Reciprocating accuracy reaches 3σ ±5μm (X/Y/Z axes), dynamic accuracy 3σ ±3μm (X/Y axes). This guarantees repeatable micro-dot placement even in dense PCB areas and on fine-pitch ICs. The gantry minimizes vibration and enables high-throughput dispensing without losing positional accuracy, ensuring that each solder paste dot is applied consistently and reliably in automated SMT production.

Automatic needle height correction adjusts for PCB warpage using three-point measurements. Upper and lower cameras monitor material penetration in real time, feeding process feedback to successive dispensing cycles. The system can accommodate different PCB sizes, material viscosities, and component layouts. Engineers can select valves, adjust speed, and optimize path configuration. This functionality reduces dependence on operator skill, improves process repeatability, and ensures that both solder paste and adhesive are consistently applied for high-precision SMT PCB assembly.

Vision non-stop capability allows inspection and dispensing to operate concurrently. The system can detect up to 100 chips per second, automatically identifying positional and height deviations, then compensating the dispensing action. Dual compensation for path and glue volume ensures overlapping points receive the correct material, avoiding excessive buildup or missing dots. This is critical for high-density ICs and BGA assemblies, where stopping for inspection would slow production. Continuous visual feedback maintains process consistency and improves throughput while maintaining precise material placement.

Valve and nozzle options allow flexibility: screw valves for high-viscosity materials like glue or solder paste; jet valves for fluid materials.
